Nicholas Pellon lives in an apartment over Moh's Market in Ambridge, PA. So when Moh's was robbed for $150-worth of cigarettes, it was easy for police to trace the hole Nick drilled in the store's ceiling back to Nick. Of course, he might have made a quicker getaway if he'd been able to climb back up the rope he used. Maybe he should stop smoking.

Ad Week is reporting that one in every 11 people walks out the door with at least one item they didn’t pay for. With shoplifting up six percent this year, retailers stand to lose a whopping $119 billion of merchandise to shoplifters in 2011.
