Why Tim ‘Tebows’ – Has He Ever Actually Read the Bible??
February 7, 2012 I don't think anyone should be ashamed of their religious convictions. But I'm no big fan of being overly ostentatious or demonstrative of your religious beliefs. I feel this way because of an obscure book I once read called "The Holy Frickin' Bible"!!
Tim Tebow is, I'm sure, a great guy. I'm also sure he's very sincere in his beliefs. But, over the weekend he gave a quote about why he chooses to "Tebow" in front of thousands of people in a stadium and millions watching on TV every Sunday. As I listened, I was reminded of a scripture I'd read that seemed to admonish Christians to ... well, how can I say this ... to NOT DO EXACTLY WHAT TIM TEBOW DOES!!
