On my first official trek to bring you El Paso's Best Local Rock, I stopped in to Bombardier's on the west side to see A Beautiful Mourning, The Ivory Structure and Rogue Planet. Unfortunately, Rogue Planet had to cancel their performance, but instead I was treated to two young guys guys playing acoustic guitars and calling themselves The Wreck.

P.O.D. (Payable On Death) is coming back! We've seen them out here for the KLAQ BalloonFest and these guys kick a$$...I can't wait! Sat., Feb. 25, Speaking Rock hosts another FREE show! Check out some of my fav P.O.D. videos here!

Yep .... a bit from (I guess) an upcoming documentary on the band has surfaced of them doing their version of the classic Kinks hit!

Sunday night, Q Connected was graced with the appearance of the guys from the band The Dreaming. Featuring some members of Stabbing Westward, they spent some time with Ray talking about their new band, new music and played a couple songs acoustically!

Alice In Chains recently performed in Chile and, since that's not exactly a quick road trip for us, I thought it would be nice to put the show up here for you guys!

Over the past year or so, talk about this band called Ghost has been surfacing in interviews with various heavy bands around the world. You'll see band members from Metallica to Slipknot wearing Ghost T-shirts during interviews or even on stage. Who is this band?

Not only was it a two day concert..duh!...but it was in Las Vegas and my birthday weekend!! (Uhhh...were do I sign again?) Hell yes it was a great show! Check out some of the awesomness I encountered on my trip!

On Friday, October 7th, Wayne Static broke away before his show at Tricky Falls to come to the KLAQ Fear Factory to go through with some fans! He stopped and talked to Mardi Gras about his solo album, the state of Static-X, his relationship with Tera and her career.

One of my favorite bands of all time! I've had the honor of meeting these kick ass guys and I love their show...so loud and awesome! Mike Portnoy is touring with them as the drummer for right now. Watch the entire concert inside and enjoy!
