US Airways staff told him he couldn't fly like that, the police were called and he was arrested for trespassing. It warms my heart to see different kinds of animals hanging out together.  Yes, you see the videos of dogs and cats who are friends, but seeing random animals is much more fun.  It's not just the orangutan and dog that are facinating, but they also hang out with an elephant!

At the Congressional picnic on the South Lawn of the White House last Wednesday, Michelle Obama held a baby, and it screamed its head off.  Then when she handed it to President Obama, it stopped crying. MSNBC hailed him as a great peacemaker. FOX News accused him of casting spells on children.

It turns out Courtney Stodden -- the "16-year-old" who married 51-year-old "Lost" actor Doug Hutchison -- made her own anti-bullying video. Here's the intro, where she says "public and cyberbullying" are big problems in the world. She describes herself as an "upcoming" recording artist and an "inspiring" actress. Yep, she's a ditz, but if she's 16 then I run a 4.5 40.

A conservative political action committee called Turn Right has released a campaign ad that even the Republican they're supporting says is racist.  It bashes a California Democrat named Janice Hahn, and accuses her of helping gang members get out of jail, then paying them to be "gang intervention specialists."

We're really looking forward to Saturday, July 2, because not only will we get Queensryche for Streetfest 2011, Bachman and Turner will be overdriving our Independence Day fun. They just recently started touring again -- first time in a couple of decades -- but they'be been back together long enough to play halftime of the Canadian Football League's Grey Cup late last year. Being a halftime show, they have to rehearse with the cheerleaders, which was a real treat for one Edmonton janitor...until he slipped and fell down the steps!

An Australian "Today" show host named Karl Stefanovic told a joke during his interview with the Dalai Lama, and it completely bombed. The joke was, "The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop, and says 'Can you make me one with everything?'" The joke is that the Dalai Lama strives to be "one with everything" in the world. But because of the language barrier, the Dalia Lama didn't get it at all.
