The KLAQ Crew caravan'ed up to Las Cruces to set up for the Vans Warped Tour broadcast. There are like 70 bands playing on upwards of 7 stages on the NMSU Practice Fields in LC. We shot a little fun video that we're working on, and will upload today. Right now, check out some pics from the set up of our tent and broadcast. Balloonfest 2011 - Day 1 Thanks to everyone who came out to the first day of Balloonfest 2011! We started the day off with beautiful clear skies and balloons launching from Santa Teresa Country Club, moved the party over to Wet N Wild to get wet and rock with Our Vegas, Alodex, Hot Rod Boogie, Aftermath, Night Must Fall, Texas Roadkill, Years of Cold, and of course, FINGER ELEVEN...

Friday, April 29th, the Pirate Party hit Club 101 for a night of fun and booty! There were cash prizes given out, movie passes to see Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides, and even a chance at a $35,000 boat! KLAQ's Rick Mardi Gras partied on the air from Club 101, and Glenn Garza, Buzz Adams, Mando Medina, Scott Ronson, Courtney Nelson and tons of friends came to party Pirate Style... Read

Howdy!  One of our record reps sent me these new T. S. A. bumper stickers ..... to borrow a line from Metallica; "Sad But True"!!

Howdy!  We just got all our computers all kiiiiiinds of souped up so that now; we can write blogs about stuff and add pictures and quotes and video and change the appearance of the words (like that .. didja' see that??)  and lots of other cool stuff...

The KLAQ gang walks for the YWCA anti-domestic violence campaign "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes".
