March 10, 2013 I love the idea of Veronica Gonzalez and Peter Carrillo doing some dares that listeners throw at them. I have tried to get some of my friends to do dares for money, such as the cinnamon or sprite and banana challenges, but they have failed. I like Veronica and Peter so I wouldn't want them to do these but this warhead one would be a little more challenging and wouldn't involve puke.

If you’ve never been to Savers, you’re really missing out on some special deals. The concept of this thrift store isn’t much different than Goodwill. Each store dedicates a certain percentage of the proceeds to a local non-profit organization. Locally, Savers stores benefit Candlelighters of El Paso. The store thrives on various donations, which they resell to the public, so it’s crucial to the store that people donation quality items. Obviously some El Pasoans didn’t get the memo. You won’t believe the ridiculous junk I found on my last trip to Savers.

Here's a little homemade chemistry lesson for you. What do you get when you mix in a little too much magnesium into your sulfur-potassium-magnesium firework? You would get what happens here. The reaction was apparently big enough to change this guy's shirt and turn his lights back on, but it's still pretty funny!
