Brian Downing, the 'Alabama Teabagger’ who rubbed his man parts on the face of a passed out LSU fan, has plead guilty to obscenity.
It's obvious and impossible to ignore. At his weekly press conference UTEP head football coach Mike Price admits the Miners are having problems moving the football. Click here for the link to the video. UTEP will have its hands full against SMU this Saturday.
The Miners made some good moves Saturday at East Carolina -- but that was mainly before the 90-minute weather delay. The rest was...questionable. Check out my quick column at 600ESPNElPaso.com and let me know on Facebook if you agree.

Did you hear that the real NFL refs are back! They reached a deal with the league last night, and they'll be on the field for tonight's game between the Browns and the Ravens.
But just because the deal was made, it doesn't mean we can't enjoy this video that those crazy Taiwanese animators made about the replacement refs screwing up the game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks.
Hey, wow, after months and months of getting nowhere with the NFL, looks like the league's referee will be back in uniform for all of this week's games!
Gee, wonder how that happened?
While the refs and the league dot "I's" and cross "T's", we want to take this moment to remember the gloriousness that was the NFL's replacement referees. Nobody put it better than Conan O'Brien Tuesday night.
So have you had enough of these replacement refs in the NFL? Are you tired of them making mistake after mistake. After what happened last night between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks that cost the Packers the game..clearly something has to be done.
Officially, two Hail Mary's were answered in NFL action this week. Unofficially, one was answered by a referee instead of by prayer, and should never have counted.
Wisconsin may have taken care of business against UTEP, winning, 37-26; but the Miners did nothing to take away from their growing reputation as a physical team, including DB Richard Spencer's big hit on Badgers' Montee Ball that forced the all-America running back's first fumble ever.
