This is actually what got me interested in radio in the first place, was comedians! I used to work at Bart Reed's Comic Strip many years ago, and I would always tune in to the KLAQ morning show to hear some of my favs on the radio!

Sad but true, I'm sure this is what comedians are thinking when they have to be in the studio at the butt crack of dawn!
