The Led Zeppelin reunion show at London's O2 in 2007 was a huge event, and everyone was trying to get tickets to this concert. The only bits people have seen are the fan-filmed shots, that sound iffy sometimes, and never look great. The whole show was filmed and recorded, but the band said that maybe something would happen with it "sometime in the future".
Rick DeJesus, lead singer of Adelitas Way wants, and I believe will, change the face of rock.
Tomorrow, the new Hellyeah CD "Band of Brothers" comes out, and the band is going to have alive chat with fans at 1:30 our time to talk about the new CD, touring and whatever! KLAQ has been giving away copies of the CD away with tickets to the July 27th show all day in preparation for the release tomorrow.
The people, the shenanigans and the shoes that made me fall down completely sober! Well, maybe not completely sober.
Streetfest 2012 kicked off in a big way on Friday the 29th with Theory of a Deadman headlining the Budweiser Main Stage. Tyler and the guys came right out of the gate getting El Paso even more worked up and having a great time. The crowd sang along and moved to all the Theory of a Deadman songs, including my personal favorite, "Nothing Could Come Between Us".
Man!! I've heard you can't teach an actor how to sing, but CAN teach a singer how to act ...
Foster the People did a show in Guadalajara, Mexico recently and wowed the crowd by bringing a mariachi band to accompany them on "Pumped Up Kicks".
Day 2 of Balloonfest 2012 took things even higher than Day 1 did! The energy, the crowd, the fun, the rock! Sunday is usually a big day for people partying with us at Wet N Wild, and this year was no exception. Thanks to everyone who came out, rode the rides, and rocked with all the great local bands, and P.O.D.!
The Metal Gods tore Russia up the other night and ... thanks to the wonderful worldwide web ... I can show you how it went down!!
Geez!!! Poor guy!
It's always good to see El Paso and El Pasoans doing well. Fresh off two big Texas music award nominations, the 915's own Dirty River Boys have come back to town to kick off the State Line Music Concert Series for 2012.
