Mike Price is under fire now more than he's ever been in the nine seasons he's coached at UTEP. With the Miners on the brink of a seventh consecutive losing season the hard questions were inevitable, and a few were asked at Price's Monday press conference. Is this Mike Price's last stand? Check this link to see.
The questions were as pointed as any Mike Price has faced in the nine seasons he's been at UTEP, but Price faced it all with his typical charm. Whether he can charm his team into winning the rest of the games on its schedule is a different question entirely
UTEP head coach Mike Price says he's "disappointed, frustrated, but not discouraged" after the Miners' 37-26 loss to Wisconsin in Madison, WI. The Miners are developing a reputation as a hard-hitting team going into Conference USA play.

UTEP announced the addition of 20 new names to its football roster on National Letter of Intent Signing Day. The class includes two players -- DB Leon Hayes and LB Darnell Murray -- who greyshirted with the program in 2011, bringing the total number of scholarships awarded to 22.
"ESPN staged a college sports morals summit. Paterno and Mike Krzyzewski agreed to star. ESPN cast the pair as The Men Who Did Things The Right Way, as if the right way could be found in the twists, turns and trapdoors of an NCAA rules manual."
Miss last Saturday's UTEP-Tulsa game? Well, you didn't miss much if you're a Miners fan. But if you're feeling guilty that you didn't suffer along with the other 15,000-or-so last Saturday in the Sun Bowl or the tens of...tens viewing on TV, fear not.
