The score was Mt. Vernon 60, New Rochelle 58 with 2.9 seconds left. A Mt. Vernon player stole the inbound pass and just tossed the ball up in the air to burn the rest of the clock. Not a bad idea. He just didn't throw it high enough. New Rochelle's Khalid Edney caught it, shot it...and swished it from 55 feet away to win the game!
