A child died last year, after accidentally swallowing some parts of a strong magnet set. At least 2,900 children were sent to the emergency room in need of treatment from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2013. Today, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) have voted 4-0 to ban the sale of any dangerous magnets, similar to Buckyballs.
