Willie Nelson as Gandalf? Well, I'd imagine Peter Jackson would want him to pronounce the character's name correctly. But he sent an "audition" reel anyway, courtesy of Conan O'Brien's website, TeamCoco.com. Of course, weed plays a starring role in this tape. Did with Gandalf, too!

Back to the Asian extreme stuff for day 14. There are some absolutely insane movies out that you really have to see. They'll do stuff over there that theater-goers here in the US would probably freak out over. This is a creepy movie. What else can I say? Even the main character isn't good. It's nice when things go south for him, really.

The band’s drummer, Matt Sorum (also affiliated with Guns N’ Roses and the Cult), recently opened up about the current state of the supergroup that also includes GNR’s Slash and Duff McKagan alongside Dave Kushner formerly of punk band Wasted Youth.

Part three of the Dream Theater documentary traking the selection of their new drummer came out at 9 this morning. As a lot of people were already guessing, Mike Mangini was selected to fill Mike Portnoy's drums shoes.

There were a lot of clues, such as the other front runner stating a few months ago that he wasn't the new drummer, Mike Mangini cancelling his teaching gig at Berkley College of Music in Boston, etc.
