Scott Ian has opened his vaults and the Anthrax archive. The guitarist is auctioning off a multitude of items from over 30 years of his headbanging history. Everything from those famous yellow shorts imprinted with the “Not” saying all over them to a beat up pair of Adidas high tops (size 8, Patrick Ewing style) to vintage passes and tour itineraries are going on the block. If you are a diehard ‘Thrax worshipper or tried and true metal fan, there are plenty of items worth owning here. Some of the offerings are priceless.

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, an avid fan of AMC’s smash hit ‘The Walking Dead,’ will be sitting in on the cast of the ‘Talking Dead’ after show tonight (March 4). Ian will be joined on the panel by make-up and special effects artist Greg Nicotero and comedian Dana Gould. ‘The Walking Dead’ is based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and follows the lives of a group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse.

Anthrax Drummer Charlie Benante’s Mother Dies
A week ago, we reported that Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante left the band’s tour to be with his terminally ill mother. Today, Benante informed fans that his mother passed away. The stickman wrote a tribute to his mom on his official website and also noted that he would return to Anthrax’s lineup for their New York City show on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
Anthax’s Scott Ian is Happy With ‘Worship Music’
It’s been a rough couple of days for Anthrax, as the rhythm section has had to leave their current tour temporarily. Drummer Charlie Benante’s mother is terminally ill, and she just so happens to be bassist Frank Bello’s grandmother, so her son and grandson have put business on the backburner to be by her side, rightfully so. But it was also a rough couple of years for the band before popular vocalist Joey Belladonna returned to the fold, with new album ‘Worship Music’ sitting on the shelf after initially being recorded with singer Dan Nelson. Despite all the things that have happened with the album, guitarist Scott Ian is very happy with the end result.
