Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais is definitely being thrown into the fire. The musician has joined Anthrax's touring lineup after the exit of longtime axeman Rob Caggiano earlier this year, and during Friday's (April 12) performance in Orlando he stepped up by covering both Caggiano and fellow guitarist Scott Ian's parts during the show.

Anthrax are still going strong on their 'Worship Music' album and will soon offer a new collection called 'Anthems' that's full of cover songs, but the thoughts of a new album have begun to enter the minds of the band's members as well. Guitarist Scott Ian told Australia's Loud magazine that while they haven't officially started on anything yet, he does have an idea as to when they'll begin.

Anthrax has been one of my favorite bands since I was a kid in the 80's, listening to Fistful of Metal, State and Euphoria, and of course, Among the Living. ATL was the album that really launched Anthrax into the music world and solidified their position as one of the Big 4 (the others being Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, of course).
