Someone found a spot in El Paso that wasn't under construction so, it's on. Sunset Heights, you're next!

Don't take my snarky tone wrong, this is actually pretty cool. UTEP is helping with major improvements in the historic Sunset Heights area by kicking in $135,158 of the (expected) $519,391 total.

According to the E.P. Times:

The planned improvements will include new sidewalks on both sides of the street, curbs and crosswalks that are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, repaved lanes, pedestrian-level lighting, shared bike lane markings, new irrigation and landscaping, and the relocation and replacement of water and sewer lines.

Work is set to begin in May and should be (should be, mind you) wrapped up by the time the fall UTEP semester rolls around.

Now, I wonder where El Chuco's construction monster will attack next?
