Sun Metro and ELP Streetcar Details for 2018 Sun Bowl Game

Avoid the traffic and ride Sun Metro or the El Paso Streetcar to the 85^th Annual Hyundai Sun Bowl on Monday, December 31, 2018.

College Football fans can avoid the traffic, congestion and headache by riding the Sun Metro bus or the El Paso Streetcar to this year’s Sun Bowl Game. The game will feature Pitt vs. Stanford at the Sun Bowl at UTEP at noon.

SUN METRO:

• Sun Metro buses will operate direct routes from various locations across the city beginning at 9 a.m.
• The drop-off site will be located near the Glory Road Transit Center, located on the north end of the Sun Bowl Stadium
• Return trips will begin at the end of the third quarter with pick up at the same location as the drop-off site for each of the routes.

El Paso Streetcar:

• The El Paso Streetcar will service all 27 stops along both its loops with a drop off location at the Glory Road Transit Center and the north end of the stadium.
• For service hours, pick-up and drop-off locations may be found on HERE.

Reminders:

• Route services may be delayed before and after the game due to traffic congestion
• NO FOOD or DRINKS allowed on the buses and streetcars
• NO COOLERS or UMBRELLAS allowed in the Sun Bowl
• NO RE-ENTRY to the stadium after kickoff
• PASSENGERS ARE REMINDED TO HAVE EXACT CHANGE FOR THE FAREBOX. (Drivers do not have access to currency. The farebox can only issue change cards for use on Sun Metro services.)
