Subway’s Controversial Ad Targets Women’s Weight For Sexy Halloween Costumes

Ladies, feeling too fat for a sexy Halloween costume? Subway wants you to start preparing for that sexy nurse costume, by eating their sandwiches. Is this ad sexist or are people just overreacting?

I saw this Subway ad over the weekend, during a college football game. My first reaction was, "This is crazy!" I am trying to enjoy all my football munchies, when Subway comes to condemn me. Some people are upset over the way the ad addressed the idea of getting in shape for Halloween.

Women do want to look good for Halloween, and yes, they probably are working out more, but to make an ad calling out women for eating a burger, during Halloween season is plain dumb. Excuse me Subway, while I shove this Big Mac down my throat. I'll just struggle into my sexy viking outfit in a few weeks.
