Every day Richard Newberry watched as Ernestina Nunez walked by his auto shop on her way to her job as a high school custodian. One day, he talked to her and learned her story.

Ernestina had just moved to the are and was working as a custodian at a nearby school. She couldn't afford a car so she had to walk everyday. Also, her son, a Marine, had suffered from PTSD and committed suicide.

Richard wanted to do something nice so he offered to sell Ernestina a car for next to nothing. But she couldn't afford it. He offered the car to her for just $400. Even then, she didn't have enough money. So, he ended up just giving her a car.
