Stewardess Shocks Passengers With “Want to Die” Comment. [VIDEO]

Would you consider this comment comforting or flat out terrifying?

A Ryanair stewardess caused quite a bit of chaos with an odd announcement. She told passengers they "don't want to die" while explaining that their flight was delayed due to ice on the wings.

Ryanair officials said:

the company "will be speaking to the crew member involved and apologise for the regrettable comment she made in the heat of the moment".

A passenger named Ella Ryan posted this online:

"This is what happens when you've been delayed almost 8 hours, everyone at a loss including staff, "we don't want to die", absolute mayhem!"

She added that they kept getting different reasons as to what caused the hold up. The passengers were apparently getting pretty restless when the frustrated flight attendant made the remark.

Is honesty really the best policy in a situation like this?
