Static-X recently announced that they would be hitting the road for a string of dates beginning July 15 in El Paso, Texas. During this first leg of the Noise Revolution Summer 2012 Tour, Wayne Static and company also revealed they will be joined by Davey Suicide and 9 Electric.

Now, with all those dates booked, Static-X has spent the last few weeks filling up their calendar with a second leg of tour dates. For these shows, the band will be joined by special guests Prong. In an official statement, Static says, “I’m very excited to have Prong join the tour. Over the years Prong has had a huge influence on many musicians, including myself, and I am honored to share the stage with them.”

Tommy Victor, lead singer and guitarist for Prong, joined Static in his excitement for the tour. “Static-X has been carrying the torch for no-nonsense, hard hitting music for many years and it’s an honor to tour with them,” he says. “They’ve put out great records again and again and I’ve witnessed their live show so many times and never been disappointed. It’s going to be fun to see them every night tearing it up with those killer riffs, great beats and raucous hooks!”

In a recent interview with Loudwire, Static told fans what they can expect from the tour: “I really just [want] to go back to old-school Static-X since the band has been gone for a few years. The last tour I was on I did a lot of my solo stuff, and I’m ready to get back to old-school Static-X stuff, which is actually new again.”
