Learn about the stars at one of El Paso's coolest state parks!

Hueco Tanks State Park, located east of El Paso, is a beautiful place to visit, climb or hike. It's also a great place to star gaze, far away from EP's light pollution. Saturday, June 25th, you can visit the park after dark and learn about the stars and constellations. According to Facebook:

Visitors will view constellations through telescopes and binoculars and learn the stories behind these groups of stars. This event does not involve walking and is open to all age groups. Check-in time is 8PM and the park gates will close promptly at 9pm with no admission after they are closed, so make sure to arrive early!

Space is very limited so, make your reservation now. Call (915) 857 - 1135, (ext 0) or email Ted.Pick@tpwd.texas.gov. Cost is the usual $7 park admission plus $2 for the "star tour". For more info, click here.
