Snake Swallows A Dog Whole, Then Vomits It Up

This video is both disturbing and astounding at the same time.

Pythons are known for asphixiating their prey and detaching their jaw to swallow it whole. Sometimes though, the snake takes in a little more than it can chew. In this video, you can see a python that clearly did just that, when it swallowed a large dog whole. If he was already in your body, wouldn't you try to suck it up and let it digest? Not this snake. He decides to throw it up instead. I guess it does make sense though, an animal that size would take a long time to digest. The digestion of their kills can take anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks. So instead of barely being able to slither around for a few weeks, this snake decided bulimia was the best option. Still a very impressive kill by this snake.
