Singing Superstars Cover Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows”

Some of the biggest names in music came together to cover a Beach Boys classic. 

The list includes some of the biggest names in music: Brian Wilson, Dave Grohl, Sam Smith, Florence Welsh, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Kylie Minogue, Paloma Faith, Lorde, One Direction, Sir Elton John, Brian May of Queen and more. These mega superstar singers all came together for the launch of BBC Music, "an ambitious wave of new programmes, innovative partnerships and ground-breaking music initiatives that amount to the BBC’s strongest commitment to music in 30 years."

The new version of the song includes an 80 piece orchestra and the video that goes along with it is stunning. This beautiful version of the song made me fall in love with it all over again. Watch for yourself.
