Netflix just released the results of a study on which shows were most likely to be binge watched, and which were least likely. They broke it down by category.

Most likely to be binge watched are thrillers. Shows that fell into this category are Breaking Bad, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, and The Killing. There are shows on here that I've seen before and still binge watched (Breaking Bad), shows I haven't seen before and binge watched (The Killing), and shows I've seen before and have not binge watched (Sons of Anarchy).

Second most likely to be binge watched are horror shows like American Horror Story, Hemlock Grove, Penny Dreadful and The Walking Dead.

Third most likely to be binge watched are sci-fi shows like Ascension, Between, Heroes, and Orphan Black. And this reminds me, I need to start watching Orphan Black.

The shows that are 'savored' and are least likely to be binged are 'irreverent comedies' like Arrested Development, F Is For Family, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Wet Hot American Summer. Does it count as binge watching is I have a show on at all times that I've already seen because I like watching it, having it on in the background and don't mind falling asleep to it? I do that with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Arrested Development and am currently doing it with Scrubs. And if you haven't watched F Is For Family yet, do it.

Second least likely to be binged are political dramas like Homeland, House of Cards, and The Good Wife.

And third least likely are historical dramas like Mad Men, Narcos, Peaky Blinders, and The Americans.

I'm wondering how frequently travel/nature shows get binged. Because I will watched the Hell out of a travel show, like An Idiot Abroad or Planet Earth.
