Show To Check Out At Tricky Falls Tonight: Joe Ely

I love all the great music they are bringing to Tricky Falls lately! Last night show for The Shins was packed and tons of fun! Another show that's going to be a blast- Joe Ely!

Joe Ely is a Texas music icon and is doing an intimate club show at Tricky Falls tonight! According to The El Paso Times,

By any other name, his music is uniquely his, a wind-blown mix of jazz, blues, folk, country, rock and God knows what else, depending on where the muse takes him at a given time. Ely's music is firmly rooted in rock and country, a product of a boyhood spent on the dusty Southern Plains of West Texas, a place that has produced some insightful and innovative songwriters, including Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings and longtime friends, such as Butch Hancock, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Terry Allen.
