Shark Song: A Heart-Warming Tale from the People Who Brought You “Jaws” [VIDEO]

In the 70's people wanted to watch movies about dangerous animals killing people in horribly violent ways.  Now, forty years on, it seems the trend is to show animals as they truly are: beautiful fellow denizens of this big blue marble we call planet Earth. Mother Nature's children who just want to be free of mankind's evil stewardship (Free Willy, Rise of the Planet of the Apes)...OR, totally on board with the whole species domination as long as it helps the human protagonist (Sea-biscuit, Warhorse).

Also, sometimes they're magic (Air Bud: Golden Reciever, The Water Horse).
