We had representatives from the community on the show today talking about gun rights. This being Texas, I thought even the most ardent of gun rights advocates would think we’ve got it right. Not so. Apparently, we are on the very precipice of having our guns pried from our warm, still-living fingers by Obama (must be pronounced as if you’re about to puke) and his lackeys. You see, it all has to do with which side of your clothes you decide to carry your gun. In Texas, you can only carry a pistol or sidearm if it is concealed within your clothing. You can’t carry it on your hip because that’s against the law. Also, you’re not Marshall Dillon.

That doesn’t sit well with some Texans. A group called Open Carry Texas wants to be able to, as the lyrics to Pancho and Lefty say, “wear their gun outside their pants, for all the honest world to fear”. In fact, since Texas isn’t an open carry state, some of these activists like to carry rifles like AR-15s and AK-47s right out in the open, like these guys.

That’s right. You’re completely allowed to carry those big scary assualty looking guns right out in the open. But why would anyone want to? Answers vary from “I like to scare people at Chipotle” to “I’m black and live in a St. Louis suburb and I want to commit Suicide by Cop”.

These folks are having a gun law seminar on February 12th (perfect pre-Valentine date night?) and here is the [LINK]

And I wasn’t joking about learning the exact second it’s finally legal to shoot someone….

This guide asks the important question, “When Can I Legally Shoot?”. The only acceptable answer to which is “Is it now??!! Please, for the love of God, say it’s now!!”

It’s yours as a free gift for attending.
