I don't think we've ever had an actual battle of cats and dogs on the show. But it's pretty obvious on the show whose allegiance lies where. We have Joanna with multiple cats, and we have everyone else on the show with dogs. But one of those dog owners does not like their dogs (**cough**Buzz**cough**)

Well, the argument over which one is smarter has been proven by science. Scientists looked at the cerebral cortex of both cats and dogs. The cerebral cortex is the part of the brain that is associated with complex thoughts. And dogs have TWICE as many than cats.

And no, this doesn't have to do with the dogs brains being bigger. A bear's brain is 10 times the size of a cats, and they have the same amount. But a really smart animal? Raccoons. They have a brain about the size of a cats, but have double the neurons in the cerebral cortex.

If you want to compare this to humans, the animals actually aren't even close. In total, dogs and raccoons have about 500 million neurons. Us humans, we about 16 BILLION.
