Scenic Drive Changing Sunday Schedule

A favorite local activity is getting a new schedule for the Spring and Summer months!

Scenic Sundays are a pretty cool thing that happens along Scenic Drive every Sunday morning. Basically, they close it.  (Making this, pretty much, the only time a road closure in El Paso is welcome.) All vehicle traffic is suspended so peeps can enjoy the beautiful road and awesome views of El Paso on foot, via bicycle, skateboard or whatever.

If you're not familiar with Scenic Drive, check out the video above. Shot from a motorcycle, it'll give you a great idea of how nice the route is.

Now that Spring has arrived, Scenic Sundays has new hours. You can now enjoy a car - free trek along the road, between Wheeling and Robinson, every Sunday morning from 6am - 11am.
