Roastin The Rock

Belated Birthday celebrations for Kid Rock will heat up as Comedy Central roasts the rocker on August 14th.  The details have not been announced, but a spokesperson for the cable network says the general public is usually not invited to the comedic event.  The roast was originally slated to coincide with Rock's birthday celebration in January, but Rock insisted that it take place in Detroit, telling organizers, quote, "I'm not going to Vegas or L.A. to let someone make fun of me.  If you guys want to come to Detroit, I'll think about it."
