Road Closure and Bus Detours This Weekend

There's a lot going on this weekend and a big chunk of Paisano will be closed so, expect delays and detours between tonight and Monday.

Construction of the Border West Expressway continues and, starting tonight at 9 p.m., a section of Paisano will be closed because of all the work.

An email from the Border West Expressway peeps says Paisano will be closed, from Executive Center to Sunland Park, from 9 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Monday morning,

Construction of the expressway is also causing changes to some city bus routes. According to the same email, Sun Metro bus routes 18 and 83 are going to be modified. Some of the bus schedule changes will be in place for quite a while.
