If you're annoyed by speed racers hauling a** on your street definitely calls for a speed bump! El Paso City Council seems to be making it easier to have a speed bump added to your street.

They have made the application process easier to prohibit people from playing race car on your street. There are a lot of streets I can think of that are in absolute need of a speed bump. One qualification that will earn your street a speed bump is if 1,000 cars drive through per day. This system will help keep people from causing a car accident or hitting a pedestrian. This new system that cut down on most of the requirements will make it better for residents to take advantage of the program. If a street is given two sets of speed bumps that alone is worth $10,000.
