Remembering The First Time I Met The Birthday Dude, Glenn Garza

Instead of writing about other stories, I thought I would share one of my own that involves the birthday dude, Glenn Garza. My mom and dad enjoyed listening to the station I now work for years later.

My story is dedicated to my radio brother, Glenn Garza aka the birthday boy. The VERY first time I met Glenn Garza I was a young teen and developed a deep love for the radio business! My mom took her friend's son and me along to the Balloonfest at Wet N' Wild and got to help out Glenn too. It was when the hot air balloons were coming back down and got to help out with the balloons. They gave away coloring books with the hot air balloons that were featured at the Balloonfest which I used for Glenn's autograph. It feels so awesome knowing that back then he was the coolest and now I get to work with him! Another great memory of that day was discovering my love for Candlebox especially when I heard "Far Behind" and "You" that night. Cheers to you on your day and hope you get everything you ask for!
