Ramones Legend Performs Tonight With El Paso And Juarez Bands

A member of legendary punk rockers The Ramones visits El Paso tonight!

The Ramones put punk on the map back in the 70's - 80's and former member Richie Ramone will perform in El Paso tonight at the Lowbrow Palace, 111 E. Robinson, on the West side.

This is an all ages show and tickets, available here, are $12 - $14. Opening up the show are Nalgadas, Acid Pie and Sluthammer. Doors open at 9:00, show starts at 9:30.

Richie joined the Ramones in February 1983 and became the first member to NOT apply the name "Ramone" to his own. Eventually he did though and went on to record the LP's Too Tough to Die, Animal Boy and Halfway to Sanity. He's also the only Ramones drummer to ever do lead vocals.

All four original members of The Ramones...Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee and Tommy...have passed away. Catch Richie tonight at Lowbrow!
