Queensryche (the Geoff Tate version of the band) is returning to El Paso for a show at Tricky Falls on March 23rd.

The band last performed in El Paso in January 2013 at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center. For ticket information, contact Tricky Falls.

This time the Tate-fronted band returns, not to be confused with the other Queensryche, with whom Tate remains embroiled in legal battles over the band's name with.

The band ousted Tate in 2012, replacing him with new frontman Todd La Torre. Tate, meanwhile, formed his own version of Queensryche and a judge ruled that both bands were allowed to use the name until an official decision was rendered. A decision that was supposed to be delivered by the end of January 2014.

Tate's Queensryche -- the version coming to El Paso -- released 'Frequency Unknown' in 2013. You can purchase it here.

**Editor's note - An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that the Todd La Torre version of Queensryche would be performing. Tricky Falls has amended their listing to say Geoff Tate's Queensryche. In any case, if they could just settle this lawsuit over the damn name already, that would be much easier for everyone. Really.
