In their new video for ‘Deal With the Devil,’ Pop Evil continue to work their way backwards with the second installment of their video trilogy. ‘Deal With the Devil’ follows in the harrowing footsteps of ‘Trenches,’ piecing the story together in reverse with only ‘Behind Closed Doors’ remaining.

The storyline, one that digs into the dark and desperate tales of addiction, comes to life throughout ‘Deal With the Devil,’ with lyrics that will resonate with anyone who has been impacted by drug addiction.

“It’s exciting to finally get the opportunity to release a song with a music video,” said vocalist Leigh Kakaty. “We worked really hard to come up with a visual that captures the energy of the song as well as taking the imagery to a new high.” Kakaty is a strategic part of that imagery as he plays the role of what could only be described as a demon throughout the clip with fiery eyes and darkened skin, completely engulfed in flames as the video progresses.

Drummer Chachi Riot also weighed in on the influence behind the song and accompanying video, explaining, “Life can be wonderful, but life can also be extremely merciless. How do we deal with these hard times? Who do we have to deal with? Our decisions have consequences.”

All three songs in the video trilogy can be found on Pop Evil’s latest effort ‘Onyx,’ released back in May.

Fans can currently catch Pop Evil out on the road with dates spanning through late October.
