Police Continue Stepped Up Enforcement This Weekend [VIDEO]

The El Paso Police Department plans to continue stepped up enforcement efforts after issuing more than 90 citations last weekend.

The Selective Traffic Enforcement Program conducted last weekend was mainly focused on speeding. This weekend, the department's STEP operation will also focus on DWI and distracted driving. The presence of more officers on the roads this weekend is funded by the state Department of Transportation.
