Photo of Elderly Couple Teaching Young Man to Tie a Tie Goes Viral

This heartwarming photo has gone viral, showing an older man bestow a tiny bit of his knowledge on a young man.

A Facebook user caught a sweet moment between an elderly gentleman and a younger man while waiting for a train.

Facebook User Redd Desmond Thomas was waiting for a train at Atlanta's Lindbergh Center when he saw a young man struggling to tie his tie. He wasn't the only one who noticed, an older woman in front of him saw his issue and asked if he knew how to tie a tie. He simply answered "no ma'am."

Thomas wrote about what happened next:

(The woman) taps her husband and says 'Come to this side [her right side; he was standing on her left side] and teach this young man how to tie his tie." The older gentleman moved without hesitation [almost a reflex response] and gave him a step-by-step tutorial; then - afterward - the elder gentleman watched the young gentleman repeat the steps and show him that he had it. I was some distance away (but close enough to hear the exchange), and got even closer to snap this candid photo of the tutorial in progress before hopping on the train. I LOVE THIS!
