KLAQ’s Most Adoptable Pets of the Week

Smokey, an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) about two-years-old, was found as a stray and has some trust issues. Animal Rescue League volunteers have been working with him and now he likes going for walks and having his tummy rubbed, and seems to like other dogs. Smokey needs a family that won’t let him become a stray again. His $125 adoption fee includes nueter, age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm/erlichia/lyme disease test, microchip, registration fee and collar. Will you be Smokey’s forever friend? Norman is a orange and white short hair cat. He’s also a big boy. Norman weighs about 22 pounds! That’s a lot of love! He’s about 5 years old and has been with the same family all his life, but they have moved several times. He didn’t adapt as well the last time, so now he’s at the Animal Rescue League. This indoor only cat is a great guy, let him show you. His $125 adoption fee includes nueter, feline leukemia testing, age appropriate vaccinations, collar, and microchip/registration fee.
