Not too long after Playboy magazine announced a major change, Penthouse magazine ceases publication.

Playboy recently announced they would no longer feature nude photographs and now Penthouse magazine has announced that, after 50 years, they will no longer print the magazine.

The, "racier" shall we say, adult mag is still very much in business though, only now offering it's content in a strictly digital format. According to foxnews.com, Penthouse publisher FriendFinder Network said:

“Reimagined for the preferred consumption of content today by consumers, the digital version of Penthouse Magazine will combine and convert everything readers know and love about the print magazine experience to the power of a digital experience.”

Magazines, as a whole, could be on their way out as more and more publishers look for ways to increase their subscription rates, lower costs and "go green". I wonder who'll be next?
