Paying To Much For Nothing

Please tell me why my cable bill has not dropped in price but the cable company has less channels and crappy service. If you have basic cable like I do, You have noticed that channels 4, 14, 15, 29, 51, 63 and 73 do not exist anymore. Oh, they are there but they broadcast nothing. For the last week my cable has froze on every channel for an extended amout of time every night. How much longer are we to pay for a service that is far below the service we are provided.  Quit stealing from us your customer and drop your prices until you have a product that is worth paying this crazy amount of money.
