Paisano Drive In West El Paso Closing For 8 Months This Sunday

Paisano Drive will be closing in El Paso this Sunday at 7 a.m. for at least 8 months.

This Sunday, June 12th at 7 a.m. Paisano Drive (US 85) will be closing from Sunland Park Drive to Executive Center Boulevard to complete a portion of the Border West Expressway. Workers are hoping to finish about 18 months of work in 8 months. The Border West Expressway team will keep the area closed until Winter of 2017.

Business in the immediately vicinity, like Shamaley Buick GMC, Sunland Park Fiat and Sunland Park Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will be accessible during the construction.

Westbound Detour

1. Exit Paisano Drive to Executive Center Boulevard
2. Follow Executive Center Boulevard up to Mesa Street and turn left
3. Take Mesa Street to Sunland Park and turn left
4. Access on-ramp for I-10 West

Eastbound Detour

1. Exit Paisano Drive to Crockett Street
2. Turn right at Constitution Drive
3. Take Constitution Drive to Sunland Park Drive and Turn right
4. Access on-ramp to I-10 east
