The $700,000 luxury home seen in the photo above teetering over the edge of a cliff in Texas was deliberately set on fire Friday morning (6/13). The home, located just south of Dallas on Lake Whitney, has been gradually falling into the lake for weeks due to erosion. Officials were originally going to let the house fall into the lake, but that was decided to be too expensive to clean up. To start the blaze the house was filled with hay soaked in diesel fuel and then set aflame. Preparations began at 10:00 AM this morning and the fire was started at about 11:45 AM and burned for about an hour and a half.
