No Injuries in Accident between El Paso Police Car and School Bus

Luckily, no children were aboard the school bus when the accident happened.

An El Paso Police Department cruiser and an El Paso Independent School District bus collided this morning in northeast El Paso. The accident happened at the corner of Will Ruth and Dyer, close to both Irvin High School and Crosby Elementary School. No word yet on where the bus was coming from or heading to.

The two vehicles collided at around 8:00am, a busy time in that area for parents dropping off their children. A spokesman with the EPISD told the E.P. Times that there were no injuries reported and no kids were on the bus at the time.

EPPD has not issued a statement but, the picture makes it look as though the police car rear-ended the school bus.
