No Amigo Airsho for El Paso This Year [VIDEO]

Nope, not this time. Sorry.

Last year, budget cuts forced the Amigo Airsho to move from Biggs Army Airfield to the Doña Ana County International Jetport in Santa Teresa. This year, it's been cancelled completely.

A statement from Amigo Airsho Board President Eric Gensheimer said:

"We hope that Airsho fans will support us as we further strengthen the attractiveness of this longstanding aviation tradition," "We have a strong relationship with the team at the Doña Ana County International Jetport and our goal would be to bring the event back for many years to come."

According to the El Paso Times, the Amigo Airsho made a five-year deal with the Jetport with an option for five more years. Past Amigo Airsho performers include the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and many more.
