Last night was a Super Bowl rematch. Granted, it was pretty much meaningless since it was week 2 of the preseason. Although something pretty meaningful happened in the game.

In case you forgot, the Philadelphia Eagles franchise quarterback Carson Wentz tore his ACL late in the season last year. Nick Foles stepped in and led the team to the franchises first ever Super Bowl victory.

Earlier during training camp, the Eagles said that they wanted Wentz to slow down his rehab a bit because they didn't want him aggravating the injury. If they continue with that course, they might be looking at Nate Sudfeld as their starting quarterback in week 1 because Nick Foles (who didn't play the first week of the preseason) left last night's game with a shoulder injury.

It's not known the severity of the injury yet, but this obviously isn't good for the Eagles if Foles can't go week one, because they aren't going to want to rush Wentz out there too soon.
