More music to look forward to in 2014!

Slash, Myles and The Conspirators will be returning to the studio next month!  Bassist Todd Kerns is keeping everyone up to date on what's happening:

So here we are," writes Kerns on his blog. "Like prize fighters training and training for the fight of our lives. Now the big fight is upon us. We are lean. We are mean and we are, most assuredly, fighting machines."

"I have to admit that, conceptually, I felt that 'Apocalyptic Love' would be a tough act to follow, but I can say with all the confidence in the world that we are more than armed and ready," he continues. "Not only do I feel that the material surpasses 'Apocalyptic Love', I think we are ten times the band we were when that album was recorded."

"The material on this album is more serious and more fun at the same time which is a tough balance indeed," according to the bassist. "The songs are sleazier, tougher and more dangerous. Exactly where I feel most comfortable. We are all very excited to unleash the monster upon you as soon as we can."

The disc will be produced by Michael Baskette who has also produced Alterbridge. (They just released "Fortress" themselves, check out the vid for "Addicted To Pain" below!)

Also back at work, The Foo Fighters!  They hit the studio a while ago and apparently have been pretty busy. A photo on their facebook page shows 5 reels of master tape already finished.  Dave Grohl sure doesn't fool around, hopefully we'll hear something from them very soon.

Whatever they release, you'll hear it on KLAQ first!
