New Mexico inmates at 11 different prisons sang their own version of "The 12 Days of Christmas," highlighting all the good they've done for their communities. NMCDPIO

The 11 prisons in New Mexico decided to celebrate the holiday season by singing their own version of the Christmas carol, "The 12 Days of Christmas." The New Mexico Corrections Department had their inmates do, "The 11 Prisons of Christmas," where they sang about service projects the inmates had done for the community. The inmates version included preparing meals for the homeless, home building for Habitat For Humanity, wrapping toys for Toys For Tots, cleaning parks, clothing donations and more!

The video footage provided by the New Mexico Corrections Department shows different inmates singing in different prisons. This may be the first time in your life you can see macho prisoners, singing Christmas carols to you.
