A New Mexico mother was arrested in Utah after her two young daughters ate her pot cookie.

A New Mexico family was at their vacation home in Mountain Green, Utah when they were getting ready to leave and their kids found something they shouldn't have.

The two daughters, ages 3 and 5, were sitting in the car waiting for their parents when they saw the cookie in the vehicle. The girls had already finished almost all of the cookie when their mother finally saw. She called 911 and the girls were taken to the hospital, treated, and released. Police came to the hospital and questioned the mother, who admitted the cookie was hers.

According to the Desert News, the mother was arrested for investigation investigation of child endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of prescription medication without a prescription. The name of the mother wasn't initially released.
